Business Intelligence Specialist

Highly motivated individual with a minimum of three years business experience using business intelligence tools in a data warehousing environment. Must be able to successfully communicate at all levels within organizations from clerk to CEO.

Required skills:

	In depth knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Cognos' Impromptu and PowerPlay, Business Objects, Brio or others with a concentration in OLAP technology.
	Ability to understand and program in SQL.
	Understanding of relational technology and the underlying structures.
	Highly developed communication skills.

SQL Programmer-Business Intelligence Developer:

March 2006

Full-time position specializing in Microsoft SQL Server and Analysis Services. This position will report to the Manager of Application Development and work in a small team environment in our Dublin, Ohio office. Full-life-cycle application development for national clients. Salary commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

	Integrate MS Analysis Services technology into current software offerings.
	Participate in architectural and model decisions during the design and build phases of new projects
	Work closely with application developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse
	Work directly with end users to understand, troubleshoot and resolve issues
	Conduct periodic market research on related technologies to support product architecture decisions.
	Ensure formal documentation is produced for all development projects.
	Occasional travel required

Qualifications:

	BS or equivalent experience in IT related field
	5+ years experience in IT related field.
	2+ years experience in MS SQL Server, including writing SQL and stored procedures code.
	1+ years experience in MS Analysis Services.

Part-time Student Consultant - Dublin, Ohio office

College junior or senior in pursuit of four-year MIS or CIS degree interested in a part-time entry level position. Candidate will be given the opportunity to learn Business Intelligence consulting in a hands-on, real world environment.

Required skills:

	Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel, with good overall computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment.
	Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Visual Basic, C++, Java, etc.
	Highly developed communication skills (both verbal and written).
	Must have own transportation.

Additional skills desired:

Database experience with tools such as Microsoft SQL Server.

Duties and Responsibilities:

	Basic application development using Microsoft SQL Server, VB.Net, ASP.Net, and Cognos product suite.
	Application documentation as needed.
	Remote application deployment to and monitoring of North American customer base.
	Customer phone support as required.
	Office technical tasks such as server backups as required.
	Other duties as assigned.
